This is one of my favorite pieces. I originally did it in Painter February of 2006. I painted it straight into the computer with no preconceived notions of what I wanted to do. Now I paint that way all the time. I have to remember to keep the palette of future paintings like this one...limited. I repainted the hands, legs and feet recently. I have to learn to do more graceful, ladylike hands. It adds a lot to the character's demeanor. I like the subtle dichotomy of nature's child doing something bad for the environment...like smoking.

I fave'd this one because the attitude, if not precisely the image, really embodies a character I'm trying to write.
