Steampunk Snow Whiteby ~rebelakemi

I painted the Snow White character for a 1-page tutorial on how to paint steampunk fashion for Digital Artist Magazine. I was unhappy with the marble background, so I dropped it into a landscape study I started the previous year. I used photoshop custom brushes to finish off the background and added the bunny and fawn. Snow White needs some friends in the forest. An Australian publisher saw the piece in my portfolio and wants to use it as a cover for those art/student journals.

Hi Anj,

Thanks for the heads up! I looked at the Jigsaw site and found my painting under art. They never contacted me to ask me permission to use my artwork on their site. If they did, I probably would have said yes, but it's the principle. So I emailed them to let them know it's illegal.

FYI, I found your art here: [link] If you didn't give them permission, your art has been stolen. In her journal, =Velvet--Glove has found her art ripped and gives information on how to get the art removed from their site.

One good thing... I found this so I could fave it! LOL

Love this! All the details in the background make it seem so natural and realistic, and the main figures are so gorgeous!
